SANCHETNA




Project Sanchetana is working for child rights since year 2000 which is supported by CRY which is an Indian trust and almost all CRY supporters are Indian or of Indian origin. CRY funds are deployed in India to benefit underprivileged Indian children and a small proportion is also invested in local causes.
Project Sanchetna is guided by Govind Sharan is working towards rights based approach to address exploitation and poverty in Allahabad. The organisation has been working on mobilizing community for protection of their rights. Mr Sharan has shown commitment to work on the issue of child rights and address issues of exploitation, indebtedness and poverty through a Rights Based Approach. Activation of health centres, panchayat health committees and ICDS centres, identification of malnourished children, immunization of pregnant women and children, campaigns against girl child marriage, maints reaming child labour into formal education are some of the priorities of Sanchetana.
